Armed Forces Medical College (AFMC) is a premier medical institute in India recognised as a centre of excellence for education and research. AFMC provides training for undergraduate and postgraduate medical and nursing students with assured career prospects in defence services. The college offers two UG courses – MBBS and B.Sc. Nursing. The college offers PG courses in various specialisations with MD and MD/MS degrees, in addition to M.Sc. Anatomy and Master in Hospital Administration. Apart from UG and PG courses, the college also offers PG Diploma courses and several special super courses. The application procedure for UG courses starts in April. For special and postgraduate courses, applications are released in July and September.
